Dando Props: Manu Chao

Área Alternatve gives props to Manu Chao. Time Magazine selected his Grammy Award-winning song, "Me Llaman Calle," as one of their top 10 songs of 2007.

Time wrote:

“#8 Song of 2007 - ...Manu Chao sings in six languages, but he's world music's great cross-cultural hope because his best songs transcend all of them...With its easy melody and universal rhythm, "Me Llaman Calle" walks proudly in the shadow of Bob Marley, the last guy who made world music this disarmingly simple.”

Felicidades!
