Cop This: The Pinker Tones' "Wild Animal"

So, I got my hands on the new Pinker Tones album, Wild Animals, and I highly recommend it for those of you who like their Latin Alternative mixed with electronica/lounge.

Released on June 3rd, the album is sure to please. Check out the first single, "Happy Everywhere," and be sure to keep an eye out for my article on Remezcla.com talking about my favorite boys from Barcelona.

Hi Jenn, I've been a reader of your cool blog for about 4-5 months or so and I have decided to "de-lurk" in order to share The PinkerTones love.
I love the new album! Very different from TMCR, but still some familiar motifs to make us feel at home. Its been in my iPod for a couple of weeks now and so far my favorite songs are Electrotumbao and Working Bees. And how can one not love SexyRobot?!?
I know you are going to wonder how I found your blog.....I was looking for stuff about The PinkerTones and came across one of your earlier posts about them. Coincidentally, I am also interested in Latin Alternative, so your blog is a great resource for me. A few years ago I used to watch a tee-vee show called RokaMole, which played videos of LA bands and also had some interviews. That is where I discovered TPT. I saw the SonidoTotal video and I was hooked. Flying around in outer space on a keyboard....how fun! From that show I have found so many cool bands and great music. The only bad thing is that I don't know Espanol, so most of the stuff is beyond my comprehension. My latest acquisitions besides TPT are the new Nortec Collective (awesome) and one by Chica Libre enitiled "Sonido Amazonico" (freaky and cool).
Since I live in the LosAngeles area, many of the bands play here. I saw TPT twice already, but I am going to have to pass on the Warped Tour thing... I'm way too over the hill for that!
When I learned the boys would be part of the Warped Tour I was a little skeptical, I thought Warped Tour was more harder rock and what passes now a days for punk. But I guess the promoters are trying to get other genres in there too. Hopefully they will be well received.
Here's a link to my review of TPT show I saw last summer.

Oh yeah, before I forget....congrats on your graduation! whoohoo.
I look forward to reading lots more of your posts this summer.
